An introduction to ritual, an investigation of the intersection of games, and therapeutic practice
>>AN ESSAY<<
(I'm sorry that this doesn't have as much fun layout + pics! Wanted to make it feel as legit as possible for my psychologist friends...)
Ritual always skids into games (sometimes), skids into therapeutic practice (sometimes). We talk about it in many ways, through the guise of fiction, safety, thinly glossed psychotherapy. In this essay! We will no longer allude to the intersectionality but put it full front and center and discuss accessible practices from ritual fields to make artistic, and psycho-therapeutic endeavours magickally safer for all.
PLEASE PLEASE, forward to colleagues and friends who you think could benefit from this and feel free to reach out if you have questions, exploratory thoughts on this. (Questions, DM twt@mariamison)

I really enjoyed this. I would like to incorporate more ideas like this into my game design approach.
